50th Annual Steveston Kendo Taikai
Date: Saturday, February 11
Time: 9:30am start (late afternoon end)
Location: McMath High School, 4251 Garry Street, Richmond, B.C.
Fee: Free, though Steveston will take donations.
Other: You will need a current US passport (for US citizens) in order to cross US-Canadian border.
Registration
To register your participation, you must complete the online form by Wednesday, January 18. Our club registration paperwork will be sent to Steveston the following day.

Accommodation
Considering the early start of the tournament on Saturday, it is advisable to plan to stay overnight on Friday. You may also want to stay Saturday night and return home on Sunday. We will likely make arrangements for accommodation among ourselves when we have the final list of Obukan participants, but Steveston has also provided some information about suggested accommodation.

This year the dojo has applied for a special grant through the city of Richmond. The amount of the grant is dependent upon how many rooms are booked under the dojo name. So if you are planning to book a room on your own, please remind the hotel that you are part of the Steveston Kendo Club booking.
Also if you are planning to book at a different hotel, the club would appreciate it if you would let us know which hotel it is so that we can contact them and confirm.
