For our first ever Shiai Seminar, we wanted to give an opportunity to explore a subject that we don’t normally have the time to cover in our regular keiko sessions. We will explore some shiai waza and individual shiai mentality, but the main focus will be team matches. With this focus, we are pleased to introduce our two seminar sensei for this year’s Rose City Shiai Seminar!

With a focus on shiai matches, there will be a need for shinpan. If you are available and would like to just to shinpan, please sign up on the volunteer page.
For kenshi who do not have bogu yet, you are still welcome to come to learn how to help run a court. Please use the volunteer link as well.
For all volunteers, please arrive at 12:30pm. Thank you for your assistance in advance!
We will be having a 20 minute lunch break. We are not allowed to eat in the gym but there will be outside seating available. Please bring your own lunch, there are water fountains in the facility to refill your water bottles.
We are currently planning an after-seminar dinner. A follow up email for those who have registered will be sent.
